Why did you choose this course?

I chose this course because I am interested in criminal behaviour and the reasons for each type of crime.

Choosing to study criminology at The University of Manchester was easy because it has a great location and a high employment rate for graduates.

It also contains a broad range of research material for students and the course content is slightly different from other universities which focus on different aspects of the criminal justice system.

What do you most enjoy about studying here? 

The provision of university facilities and the range of help you can get when it's needed.

Academic advisors are happy to help and this course provided an opportunity to study abroad.

What has been the highlight of your course so far?

There are plenty of opportunities to attend a variety of talks and to understand different experiences from a wide range of people.

What are your plans after graduation, and how do you feel studying at Manchester has prepared you? 

I haven't got a plan yet as I am still thinking about whether should I apply for a master's degree or apply for jobs in this area.

Manchester has provided job advice lectures for first-year undergraduates so we can understand the importance of work experience and how it will help with future employment. 

What advice would you give to new students? 

Try to join societies and attend events to broaden your knowledge beyond the textbooks.
