Our research
A wide range of research projects are currently being carried out under the umbrella of the Manchester International Law Centre (MILC), which include the sources of international law, transnational constitutionalism, international law and the first World War, the fundamental rights and duties of states, and international law and cyber-activities.
MILC is also about to embark on the construction of an extensive database of documents concerning international organisations in collaboration with Oxford University Press. MILC has recently secured strategic funding from the Faculty of Humanities to enhance the impact of its research on international practice.
