Institute for Science, Ethics and Innovation

With a mission to observe and analyse the role and responsibilities of science and innovation in the 21st Century, the Institute for Science, Ethics and Innovation (iSEI) is a prestigious research institute, chaired by John Sulston (Nobel Laureate in Physiology/Medicine 2002) and directed by John Harris.

iSEI brings together researchers in ethics, law, philosophy, science and medicine to examine how the social and ethical consequences of science and technology can be managed in a way that protects people and makes their lives better.
