Completing an online application
Applicants need to complete an on-line application process.

During the on-line application process, applicants will be given the opportunity to upload the following required supporting documents:
- Two satisfactory academic references on official letter-headed paper. All references must be signed by your chosen referee and must include full contact details. If you have been out of education for 10 years or more you do not have to provide academic references, but all references must be on letter-headed paper, signed by your referee and include full contact details. If you have problems in finding appropriate references contact us to discuss possible alternatives
- Evidence of qualifications received. Please provide us with a readable certified copy of your final degree certificates and academic transcripts. If the evidence of your qualification is not in English you must provide a copy of a certified English translation made by an official translator, with a stamp/seal and full contact details.
- English Language Certificate: If English is not your first language and/or your language of instruction, then you must provide evidence of your English language ability. Our English language requirements are as follows:
- 7 IELTS or TOEFL 625 (263/106) with 5 in the test for written English
- Cambridge Proficiency Grade C
Please note, you may be required to provide an English Language reference, if instructed by our Programme Director.
Each application we receive is different. If you would like to provide any other additional supporting documents, then please feel free to do so. When submitting your application, you are strongly advised to provide us with a covering letter setting out what is enclosed with you application, and providing an explanation if necessary.
Deadline for applications
The deadline for applications for the distance learning programme is 15th August in the year you wish to start the LLM/MA, PG Diploma or Certificate. However, applications will be considered after the deadline if there are available spaces on the course.
Due to the increased volume of interest, the LLM/MA/PG Diploma and PG Certificate programmes may become full before this deadline. In order to ensure a place, you are encouraged to send in your application as soon as possible.
