Details of CPD accreditation for the Medical Decision-Making Package
Royal College of Physicians has awarded this package of courses 10 CPD credits. Unfortunately there is a limit on how many of physicians CPD credits can be by distance learning but we were awarded the maximum of 10 hours. However, there is scope to claim up to an additional 10 Personal Credits for this programme of study. Each section of the course has study hours attached to them (this package is 32.5 hours in total) and there are opportunties for further reading.
Royal College of Nursing has accredited this package with the full 33 hours it takes to complete this package of courses.
Health Professions Council, Royal College of General Practitioners, The Law Society, etc.
You should check with the CPD guidance for your profession but it should be possible to claim CPD credit for the hours you spend on the course including any extra reading you do as part of these courses.
When completing your CPD profile your certificate of completion of the course and print outs of the course content can be used as supporting evidence.
The 'Medical Decision-Making: Ethics and Law' package should take around 32.5 hours to complete with options for further hours from further reading suggested within the materials.
