Courses coming soon

Mental Health Law and Capacity

We have recently launched (January 2013) the first module of a series of courses on mental health law. For details of further modules to be released, please contact rebecca.bennett@manchester.ac.uk.

Medical Ethics Modular Package

We will also soon be launching additional courses within the Modular Package of medical ethics CPD online courses. Students complete a short online introductory course on medical ethics and then practice the skills they have learnt by choosing from other short online courses in an area they have a particular interest in choosing from:

These courses are accessible to everyone whether they have any previous background in ethics or not.

There will also be additional course for those wishing to get a deeper understanding of some of the theoretical foundations of bioethics including more advanced moral reasoning and argument, consequentialism, deontology virtue ethics, care ethics, autonomy, beneficence, paternalism, justice and ethics and the law.

These courses can be bought individually and will cost around £90 for an individual course, again with discounts available on block bookings. Details of how to enrol on these courses will be posted shortly but if you want any further information or have any requests for future courses get in touch with me (Dr Becki Bennett ).
