CSEP and iSEI
The Centre for Social Ethics and Policy (CSEP)
CSEP was founded by Professor John Harris and Professor Margaret Brazier and is one of Europe's leading institutions undertaking research and teaching in bioethics and biolaw, with two decades of experience in innovative campus-based and distance-learning programmes, and a lively and productive research environment. The Centre is now led by Professor Søren Holm.
The Institute of Science, Ethics and Innovation (iSEI)
iSEI is led by two pioneering thinkers, Nobel Prize-winning scientist Professor John Sulston and renowned bioethicist Professor John Harris and brings together researchers in ethics, law, philosophy, science and medicine to examine how the social and ethical consequences of science and technology can be managed in a way that protects people and makes their lives better.
These short courses draw on the expertise of those within CSEP and iSEI and thus provide innovative and high quality training in medical law and bioethics.
