Teaching Assistants
Teaching Assistants are part-time staff who teach undergraduate seminars. They are often research students in the Law School, but may be other experts, appointed from outside the School.
We anticipate that there will be vacancies for teaching assistants for the academic year 2011/12 in the following subjects:-
- Business Law
- Company Law
- Commercial Law
- Criminal Law
- Criminology
- Equity & Trusts
- EU Law
- Family Law
- Jurisprudence
- Land Law
- Legal Method & Systems
- Insurance
- Intellectual Property Law
- Medical Law
- Public Law/Administrative Law
- Research Methods
- Tort
The rate of pay (for PGR students) is currently £28.42 per seminar. However, different Teaching Assistants may be paid at a different rate, details of which can be found on the job description.
