Socio-Legal Theory and Method
This stream invites papers on theoretical and methodological issues arising out of the study of law, legal institutions and legal behaviour. It welcomes papers on law and social theory, the development of quantitative and qualitative methods; problems associated with doing fieldwork in legal settings; problems of collecting and analysing legal data; the epistemological issues of socio-legal research; the interdependence of socio-legal theory and method; and how the priorities of funding agencies influence the development of socio- legal research.
