It will include papers on such issues as: the treatment and management of sex offenders, risk management, the rights of defendants, the protection of vulnerable or intimidated witnesses, measures to improve the conviction rate in cases involving sex offences, substantive legal reform, definitions of rape and consent, the education and training of criminal justice professionals, comparative perspectives, philosophical/theoretical perspectives.

Papers on any other area relating to sexual offences or offending are also welcome. I am happy to discuss any ideas for a paper prior to the submission of abstracts.
