Environmental Law
The main aim of this stream is to bring together those interested in environmental law and policy, broadly defined. It welcomes papers from academics (including post-graduate students) and professionals with expertise in law and in other relevant disciplines - on any area falling under the broad umbrella of environmental law. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to), environmental principles and their judicial interpretation, human rights and the environment, the promotion of public participation and environmental justice, and issues surrounding the enforcement of and compliance with environmental standards. Comparative analyses are always welcome. If you are interested in participating in this stream, please send a brief abstract (maximum 250 words) to me via the email address below. Abstracts should be sent by the end of January 2008, although earlier submissions are very welcome! Look forward to hearing from you.
